Job Description

Position Title: Asst. Manager (Marketing) Department : Marketing

Reports to : Station Head

Key responsibilities:

Purpose & Context of the assignment

Radio business continues to be the mainstay of RBNL. Mumbai is a key contributor to both listenership & revenues. More importantly it’s a key perception driver for the brand. There is an opportunity to join the marketing team to spearhead marketing for Mumbai station to drive its market share towards undisputed leadership in the city. The deliverables of this role includes

• Develop a comprehensive consumer & market understanding for the brand
• Develop and deliver very effective Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) programs that drive thought leadership in the market place
• Develop brand strategies & on-going brand performance monitoring, plus opportunity/issues analysis
• Create & Deliver ‘TALKABILITY’ for the brand and drive innovation
Required Professional skills & experience

• Education
• Work experience

- Masters Degree in Marketing/ Management from reputed B-school

- Around 4 to 5 years experience in Marketing. Of these, atleast 2 – 3 years must be in communication and mix development.

- Proven success in developing, delivering and executing large-scale innovation/activation projects in the market and communication development as part of a team

- The person in this role will create the innovation platforms and concepts for the future and hence must be able to ideate and be creative.

Key Responsibilities
• Brand Management & insight driven brand communication
• Focus on alliances that contribute to listenership and drive PR mileage
• Execute brand, IPs & sponsor activities on-ground
• BTL/ Field marketing/ promotions/ brand activation
• Drive PR with the national PR team to keep media interested in the brand, nationally
• Ensure smooth functioning and relationships with partners (Barters) by coordinating internally for their needs
• Regular reporting from and to other cities on brand developments and activations. Needs to be a facilitator of information between corporate office and rest of the cities
• Set benchmarks in process compliance
• Drive digital footprint of the brand & innovation in new media
• Customer Marketing : Engage top clients / agencies in driving preference for the brand & maximize revenue opportunities of the station.
